Today's prompt: Grinch Week: What holiday tradition do you wish would please just go away?
Nothing dampens my holiday spirits like the annual holiday assembly at school. It has devolved over the years into a poorly organized talent show that has little to do with the holidays. People mis-interpret the ACLU's handout to wipe out any reference to Christmas or Hanukkah. Oh, but it's painful. And it pisses me off. I would rather go home early.

Ugh, I always hated the school assembly and the dreaded Twelve Days of Christmas sing-a-long.
