Come To My Window

Sheryl Crow is a breast cancer survivor and October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Please spread the word about early detection.

1) What's something that always makes you happy? driving

2) In the lyrics, Sheryl refers to a poncho. How do you usually protect yourself from the rain? Poncho? Umbrella? Raincoat? Hat? I usually have a jacket--I forget my umbrella

3) Early in her career, Sheryl made ends meet by singing commercial jingles, including one for McDonald's. When was the last time you visited The Golden Arches? I went sometime over the summer to get a smoothie

4) Sheryl rode a horse into the ring of a Wyoming rodeo and then sang. Have you ever been to a rodeo? I went to a Lumberjack Rodeo where they showed off different skills and had competitions, but not a rodeo rodeo.

5) Sheryl lives outside of Nashville, which is known as Music City. What type of music do you listen to most often? most often would be pop/rock, but I like all kinds of music except gangsta rap and polka

6) Crazy Sam is a massive Sheryl Crow fan, and is sure that the only reason why she and Sheryl aren't best friends is that they haven't met. What famous person do you think could be your BFF? Meryl Streep always seems to have fun, she'd be cool to hang out with

7) Sheryl and cyclist Lance Armstrong were once engaged. Had they tied the knot, she would have become stepmother to his three children. Are you a step-parent, stepsibling or stepchild? I have a step mother but I don't think of her like that

8) Sheryl has performed carols at the National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony in Washington DC. Have you ever visited our nation's capital? I have! It was in April of 2001. I want to go back because there are more monuments now!

9) Do you consider yourself easy going or do you have a fiery temperament? well... I'd like to think I'm easy going

I want to go back to DC, too. I'm more of a Mary Lincoln fan than I was last time I went and I'd love to see what the Smithsonian has on her.

I want Meryl Streep for my BFF too. Maybe we could join up and go for a stroll in DC.

I didn't think of Meryl Streep, but she would be nice to have for a BFF and she lives only a few towns away.

When we travel, I always stop for an ice coffee at Mc donalds. They are the best, I have ever had..they stay coffee flavored the whole time.

I am really happy while driving too. Especially if I am all alone in the car. And the music is cranked up really loud. Hope you are feeling better...

I always forget my umbrella, too.

I listen to top 40/pop music and most everything you do, except not country.

McDs has the best smoothies and frappes!

I thought Melissa Etheridge sang this song.
I do a lot of driving, probably more than I should.
I have 4 umbrellas in my car and always get wet because I forget them in the car.
Rodeos are fun, much more fun than I remember as a kid.
We have the same taste in music.
I so want to go to DC, I've never been.
