Come To My Window
Melissa Etheridge is a breast cancer survivor and October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Please spread the word about early detection.
1) This song is about a woman passionate about love and willing to pursue it, no matter what "they say." Are you fearless when it comes to public opinion? Or do you worry about what "they" think of you? I don't know that I'm fearless, but I don't worry much
2) Melissa's father was a high school teacher. Tell us about a teacher who had an impact on you. when I was in 7th grade, my social studies teacher, Mr. Smith, made such an impact on me that many years later, when I was in Brussels I had a flashback to his information and enthusiasm for the Atomium--so I sent him a post card!
3) Melissa won a Grammy for this song. If you won a major award, where would you display it? on a small table in my living room
4) Which TV game show do you think you'd do better on -- The Price Is Right or Wheel of Fortune? probably Wheel
5) Are you neat and organized? about some things
6) When was the last time you went more than a day without washing your hair? when I was last sick
7) When you eat Chinese food, do you use chopsticks or a fork? it depends on if noodles are involved
8) Are you a good cook? I used to cook and bake alllll the time, but since I started teaching, not so much
9) We're having a party in your honor! Would you prefer a costume party, a bowling party or a pool party? bowling would be a hoot!

I hope Mr. Smith knows you became a teacher. I bet he'd like that.
I bet he LOVED getting that postcard! What a thoughtful thing to do!
Atomium, I learned something new today, I had to look it up.
I don't give a hoot about public opinion either! This is the way I am...take me or leave me!
I'm a noodle person too. Rice is a waste of carbs in my book
I love lo mein, and always eat it with chopsticks. Yum.
What do you teach?
