musing mondays

Musing Mondays asks you to muse about one of the following each week…

• Describe one of your reading habits.
• Tell us what book(s) you recently bought for yourself or someone else, and why you chose that/those book(s).
• Tell us what you’re reading right now — what you think of it, so far; why you chose it; what you are (or, aren’t) enjoying about it.
• What book are you currently desperate to get your hands on? Tell us about it!
• Do you have a bookish rant? Something about books or reading (or the industry) that gets your ire up? Share it with us!
• Instead of the above questions, maybe you just want to ramble on about something else pertaining to books — let’s hear it, then!

When I discover an author that enchants me, I like to check out all their books--and then I want to greedily gobble them up. My recent find is Jojo Moyes, I read Me Before You and had to read more of her works, so I picked up and listened to The Girl You Left Behind and picked up Sheltering Rain.

It is great when I find a new author and they have written a lot of books. I just read and read. Here is my post:

I do that! Sometimes I manage to add a dozen books to my TBR list that way.

It's so frustrating when a new favorite author just can't seem to write as fast as you can read!

JoJo Moyes is one of my faves. When I found her last year I did the same as you. Ive read four of hers although dissapointingly I didnt finish sheltering rain which I just couldnt get into. The other three were brilliant and I can recommend Ship of Brides. I still have Last Letter from your Lover on my shelf to yet read.

Heres my musing: http://daystarz.wordpress.com/2013/10/14/musing-mondays-11/

I do the same thing! Which is why I cursed you under my breath when I ran out of Spellman books in just a year. Series last so much longer when you read them as they come out, instead of binge-reading.
