It's Constitution Day! Here's the prompt for my students:
The framers of the Constitution used the phrase “in order to form a more perfect union” as one reason for writing the Constitution. How has the Constitution helped America become a more “perfect union?”
Some good stuff, some not so good stuff. Always interesting to be a teacher!

My goodness, I wonder what they had to say. I'm not even sure what I would say. hehe
How did they answer? Do students believe we are on our way to being "a more perfect union?"
I love Constitution Day! We have a copy of it in our living room.
