I had a coffee date today with a couple of former students. One of them is getting married Saturday and the other is her matron of honor. But I haven't seen them... well, for years. I was so touched to get together with them and catch up and one told me that I'm her security password answer: who is your favorite teacher? Wow. What an honor. That after ten-ish years, they still remember me and still want to get together for a catch up.

What a wonderful tribute! This is such a good story, and bravo for these former students for making a point to get together with you now that you're all peers. That takes courage.
