summer reads

My book group selected the following for our summer reads:

• July: Islands in the Stream by Ernest Hemingway on the 11th.

• August: The Casual Vacancy by JK Rowling on the 1st.

The first two will be held at local eateries for lunch fun.  And we'll be back in school for the September meeting.  Blah.

• September: Reconstructing Amelia by Kimberly McCreight on the 13th.
