day 10

Because it's Sunday I am out of my daily routine. During the school week, I have a pretty set routine: after morning ablutions, I head to Dunkin' Donuts for an iced coffee. When I get to school, I check my mailbox then head up to my room. I hang up my jacket and put my purse in my locker and then fire up my laptop. And that's when the students start flooding in. There are several members of the chess team in my homeroom so it is not unusual for them to start informal matches before school. While they're getting their game on, I'm double-checking lesson plans and making sure I'm ready for the day.
