I popped in to my LYS (local yarn store) yesterday to wind some yarn and pick up a decorative button and heard a funny story: at breakfast yesterday a couple of women I have a nodding acquaintance with kept glancing at my table. After they finished breakfast they apparently went to LYS in pursuit of yarn and a pattern. They mentioned me and my cowl to the shop clerk who happened to know what they described and was able to sell them the goods they need to make their own. How fun is that?
