THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CARIBOU HAS ISSUED A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW AND MIXED PRECIPITATION... WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 5 AM MONDAY TO 1 AM EST TUESDAY.

* PRECIPITATION TYPE... SNOW. THE SNOW WILL MIX AND CHANGE TO SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN LATER MONDAY AFTERNOON.

* ACCUMULATIONS... SNOW ACCUMULATION OF 3 TO 5 INCHES... ALONG WITH UP TO ONE QUARTER OF AN INCH OF ICE.

* TIMING... LATE TONIGHT INTO MONDAY NIGHT.

* TEMPERATURES... IN THE MID 20S.

* WINDS... EAST 10 TO 15 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 20 MPH.

* IMPACTS... MODERATE IMPACT. EXPECT TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. SNOW, SLEET AND A GLAZE OF ICE WILL PRODUCE SLIPPERY CONDITIONS. ICE MAY CAUSE A FEW TREE LIMBS TO SNAP WITH SCATTERED POWER OUTAGES POSSIBLE.
