Yea! You know, my mom gave me a mini-George Foreman grill a little over a year ago and I've started eating leaner cuts of meat. I believe the protein is better for me than all the carbs (pasta) I'd been consuming. And I find that this most minimal degree of cooking encourages me to think more about what I'm going to have for dinner, which means I spend and eat out less.
I love my crock pot & hope to feel better enough soon to start using it more. I've bookmarked a TON of recipes here http://crockpot365.blogspot.com/ that I want to try. You should check out Stephanie's site. :)
I LURVE my crock pot. In fact, I have a couple of really amazing crockpot recipes over at stupideasyinthekitchen.wordpress.com. The BBQ beef is my favorite, but I really do love them all...
I started reading "a year of slow cooking" (blog) and was inspired. I bought a new crock pot and have been using it at least once a week ever since. I love it!
