fingers crossed

I just got home from my dental appointment. I ended up having a partial root canal. Hopefully this will relieve quite a bit of the pain. And I wasn't too much of a wreck, the dentist kept saying I was doing a good job. I tried to keep calm and keep breathing.

Thank you, my dear blog friends for holding my hand through this.

You poor thing! Lawd, I hate dental work. My first (and last) root canal was a nightmare, ended up, after all that drama, having the tooth pulled. Oh well! BTW, got the scarf, it's GORGEOUS!! Thank you so much :)

You will feel soooooo much better when this is over. I promise you! I'm no medical professional but I am a veteran of tooth aches (one caused by infection, another from pressure of crowding by wisdom teeth) and know they are *consuming.* The throbbing in your head, the waiting for an appointment, the time in the chair ... no wonder people are freaked out by the experience! But the worst is over and you are going to feel nothing but relief.

I think if you got through today's appointment without biting the dentist or breaking down in a full-blown tearstorm, AND walked out with less pain, I call you a hero!
