1) I had a most delightful and productive knitting class. Tonight was the first session of the new class and there were friendly new faces (one male, even)!
2) I got to hang out after school with some of my favorite people. It made me so incredibly happy to think they stayed an hour after school to hang out with me.
3) Fall has arrived.
4) I have my last pedicure of the season on Saturday. I'm sad contemplating putting my beautiful tootsies into shoes.
5) Friday is also the annual "book selection" meeting of my reading group where we establish the calendar for the year.
6) I think I'm going to suggest the JK Rowling book for adults. I mean, I'm going to read it anyhow--why not with a group?

8) I wonder if I will finish the book for book group Friday. I'm even the one that chose it. It's not that I don't like it, I haven't put the time in.
9) I haven't chitty-chatted with my nieces lately. I miss them.
10) I haven't chitty-chatted with my dad lately, either. I need to do something about that.

Does your book club read any genre (SF/Fantasy) stuff, or is it all "straight" fiction? If you're interested, I can suggest some amazing SF for you :)

You guys are so good doing a list for the year, I couldn't get my group to choose for two months in a row! We meet tonight to discuss Gone Girl - should be fun :)
