This week’s musing — courtesy of sarrod22.blogspot.com– asks…
• What is your least favorite book? Why?
• What is your least favorite book? Why?
Interesting phrasing. I don't know that I have a least favorite book because if a book's a favorite, it's a favorite. But if the question means a book I didn't care for then I would say The Dogs of Babel by Carolyn Parkhurst. I remember feeling uneasy after finishing it.

Oh god, that's easy--the "Left Behind" books. I was so disgusted with all the blatant propaganda in Book 1, I ended up throwing the bok across the room.
(Of course, the Twilight Series, which I actually read, may come in a close second)
I haven't read that, but I understand what you mean about the question. Least favorite is such a weird term! I got to overthinking it before answering the question today wondering if they wanted a book I liked but less than all of the others or one that I didn't like at all. ha. Glad I'm not the only one!
I've never heard of this book, and I'm sure if I run into it I won't read it. I hate reading books that leave me with an uneasy feeling. I read for entertainment, so I want to be entertained.
Thanks for the visit today.
Hmm. Reading the summary for the book, I must admit that I'm intrigued. It's definitely not my kind of book, however. I totally understand what you mean about being unsettled by a book. Usually I can push past it and see that the book is actually really good (like Dennis Lehane's stuff), but sometimes it makes me really ill at ease and I can't finish it.
For my favorite book is the first book that started me reading... "A Stranger in a Strange Land"
I haven't read that one; I've enjoyed other books by this author.
Thanks for sharing, and for visiting my blog.
I'm unfamiliar with the book you've mentioned but uneasy feelings are so dissatisfying after all of the energy and time spent investing oneself in a book! thanks for stopping by today :)
