1. I don't know what it's like to to attend parent conferences as a parent; I only know the teacher's perspective.
2. Aaaah! would be a great title for my life.
3. A couple of weeks from now vacation will be over.
4. We can talk about any number of things.
5. I drove from Maine to Pennsylvania and Virginia last summer with my parents and niece, we had a goooooood time!
6. I woke up and I was happy.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to conferences ending, tomorrow my plans include birthday lunch with my niece and Sunday, I want to finish knitting an adorable baby hat!

It must make hard to teach, having a vacation so early after the start of school.
Trust me, the teacher side isn't any more (or less) fun than the parent side, though at least parents only have to talk to 6 or 7 teachers at most (per kid). I feel for teachers who sit all day with no parents showing up at all!
Also, is that an "Aaaaah" of joy or more of an "Aaaargghhhh"? ;-)
