My bestie and I went to our first wine tasting tonight. Since it's the first Friday of the month, it's Art Walk night. One of the local merchants was offering a wine tasting of California wines. We got to sample five different wines and nibbled on some hors d'oeuvres that were paired with each wine. Drinking five shots of wine, well, I'm a bit if a light weight so I was feeling quite ... quite... fine. After that, we crossed the block for a writer's group's readings (and my parents were two of that group). Then we went to a local music shop to listen to an area artist who put on a very fun 90-minute concert. All in all a wonderful summer night. It was so much fun to enjoy local artists.
