Maine has recently lifted its laws banning fireworks. I hope the rainy weather prevents the Yahoos from firing off too many. I've been hearing so many firecrackers it's like living in a gangster film. Oy.
But, that's part of the beauty of living in America! I'm proud to be a history teacher and to share my love of this country and all it stands for with my students.
