• Have you ever read a book that, at the time, you didn’t feel a strong connection towards, but as time goes by you find yourself thinking about it a lot?
Oh, there are lots of books like this! Let me name a few from my 2011 reading list: Freedom by Jonathan Franzen, A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness, and Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro.

I really want to read Never Let Me Go. I'm sure that story will stay with you. I saw the movie and the whole concept stayed with me, thought at the time, I didn't know if I liked the movie. Great answer! Thanks for stopping by
I seriously loved Never Let Me Go. Both book and movie. (Each on its own terms.) I tried reading Franzen's The Corrections but it left me completely cold. Maybe I should revisit him with another book ...
I can imagine Never Let Me Go does stay with you. It's a fascinating story :)

I've been wanting to read A Discovery of Witches. I've heard great things about it.
Thank you for stopping by my blog. I am now following you :D
I think maybe even in a less than great book, one aspect can stand out and stick in your mind..a great setting or a great character or some part of the plot.
Hi! Thanks for visiting my blog!
