The storm we had today was so strong it prevented me from napping. It thundered so strongly that I could feel it in my feet, and my feet were up.

Yesterday was such a busy day--I had to leave for the day because the plumbers had to replace a leaky pipe and I wouldn't have been able to use the bathroom or any sinks all day. I ended up taking myself out to breakfast, then going to school and working there with a couple of colleagues and we got a lot of furniture placed and some boxes moved, then I had to hang around until it was therapy time, then I came back to town and got ready for the Board of Trustees meeting, and then it was time for Knitting Group where I got yarn bombed by my knitting friends (that's where they toss a gift of yarn at your head), and by then it's 7-ish so my knitting friends and I went across the street and had sandwiches then jaunted down to the Wintergreen Art Center's "Girls Night Out" where they featured henna tattoos! I ended up getting home around 10. With the heat and humidity, I was worn out. But it was so much fun! I really needed a nap today--it just didn't happen.
