1) My landlord and the plumber discovered a major leak from a pipe to my toilet. As in, they'll need a whole day to repair/replace/whatever it. Don't they realize I'm on vacation and hanging around? Oy. Where will I go for a whole day? And when is this going to happen?
2) The luggage I ordered from EBay came today. I wasn't expecting it for another week! It's a nice orange/black check. Not too bulky. And I can't believe I'm just getting my first set of luggage.
3) St. Joseph's has already sent out their information about parking vouchers for the summer institute. I don't even have a dorm assignment but I'll have my decal. It's just... I don't know, ...something.
4) I'm reading a book called Maine. I thought I would devour it and love it. But I'm "meh" about it. Kind of bored and thinking of other things I would like to be doing instead of reading it.
5) Last night, at knitting class, I started socks!
6) I need to start a second project, too, so that I have something to work on when I get stumped by socks.
7) I'm excited to meet some friends for lunch tomorrow. Plus having a lunch date will anchor my day.
8) I think I'm procrastinating on studying up for the AP Psychology institute. Or maybe I'm just taking a break from school before I start gearing up for the changes. But it feels more like denial.

As far as #1 is concerned, UGH! But you will go to Al's, and then the library, and then lunch. That's how you will spend the day.
You were so smart to go with the orange check. Until recently my luggage was black American Tourister ... just like everyone else's. The luggage carousel is not where you want to blend in!
