• Do you set goals for yourself, while reading? For example, “I want to get this book finished this weekend“, or “I will read __ pages today“, etc. Why, or why not?

I want to finish the book--it really bugs me when I just can't finish the book. The only time I set goals is for reading group when I'm struggling with the book. And struggling could be trying to finish on time. It could be the content. But usually it's trying to finish on time.

I read for my own entertainment, so I can set goals or not, it's up to me. However, I usually set little goals for myself.

I feel like you do but then I feel bad if I don't finish any books I accepted for review.

I understand the feeling of wanting to finish on time for book group. And struggling with the content is another time that I set up goals too-to ensure that I don't just give up! thanks for stopping by!

On time? Is there a time? I can't take the pressure!

Because of all the reviews I committed myself too, I end up having to give myself deadlines. I'm hoping to catch up and get back to reading for fun.

Hi! Thanks for visiting my blog!

Yup the pressure to finish in time can sometimes sap the fun out of reading.
