w.w.w. wednesdays

To play along, just answer the following three (3) questions…

• What are you currently reading? I downloaded the library book The Magicians by Lev Grossman on my Nook, but it expired and I picked up A Dog's Purpose by W. Bruce Cameron. And I'm still reading text book samples which drains my brain so I don't really want to read anything else.

• What did you recently finish reading? I quit reading The Lacuna by Barbara Kingsolver for my book group. Did not like. At. All.

• What do you think you’ll read next? Psychology for Dummies to prep myself for reading the Advanced Placement Psychology textbook! I'm going to finish both the books I started reading; I did re-new The Magicians.

I have been trying to get library ebooks, but it takes for ever on the reserve list to get your turn.

I think people don't know that they can return the book when they are finished. So it sits there on their Nook or Kindle for a month.

A Dog's Purpose is pretty good. Some sad parts, though.

I hope your reading group had a lively discussion! When we didn't like a book we had a lot more to say about it than when we did.

I want to know what you think about The Magicians. I haven't read that one yet.

1. Currently finishing up Pat Conroy's "MY reading Life" and working thrugh Madeleine Albright's "Prague Winter" and "Love, Life and Elephants" by Daphne Sheldrick

2. Just finished "The Elephant Whisperer" by Lawrence Anthony, which was fantastic.

3. Don't know what I'll read next--whatever moves me. I just downloaded Barnaby Conrad's "The Death of Manolete" which is a short book and I will probably read that next.

BTW, I loved "A Dog's Purpose." I loved having the feeling that I was seeing the world through a dog's eyes.
