To play along, just answer the following three (3) questions…
• What are you currently reading? I downloaded the library book The Magicians by Lev Grossman on my Nook. And I'm still reading text book samples which drains my brain so I don't really want to read anything else.
• What did you recently finish reading? I quit reading The Lacuna by Barbara Kingsolver for my book group. Did not like. At. All.
• What do you think you’ll read next? Psychology for Dummies to prep myself for reading the Advanced Placement Psychology textbook! I don't know what I'll read for pleasure--I just started The Magicians.

I started The Magicians on audio once and couldn't get into it. I'll be interested in your thoughts to see if its worth giving it another go. Sometimes the timing just isn't right for a book.
My WWW Wednesday is here.
I haven't read any of these but I hope you enjoy them, shame you didn't enjoy The Lacuna

It stinks that you didn't like your bookclub book :( I LOVED my bookclub read for this month. It is actually on my WWW. Title: Before Ever After.

funny, you mentioned two authors I read during chemo and radiation...I didn't like The Magicians and so left it in the waiting area of radation for someone else to read, and the Kingsolver book I read...name escapes me...I disliked intensely.
Psychology for Dummies! I had no idea! I have Fitness for Dummies right here on my desk (fat lot of good it's done -- emphasis on the "fat").
I read The Magicians and liked it enough to finish it, but was not remotely as impressed as most people seem to be. I have only read The Poisonwood Bible of Kingsolver's and I did like that one. . .but none of her other books have ever appealed to me.

I tried "Prodigal Summer" by Kingsolver and felt the same way, but I really liked "The Bean Trees." Hmmm.
Mine is at http://katybrandes.wordpress.com/2012/05/16/to-play-along/.
