1) It's official. I'm going to an AP institute for Psychology. I'm not sure which institute or where, but, I've been tapped to teach the AP Psych class.
2) Not only that, but I'm going to be moving rooms at school. I'm not thrilled about that because I am so comfortable in my own room, but... for the good of the department, I'll move.
3) I'm doing an official observation of my student teacher. It's weird to evaluate someone. Unfortunately, most of the students don't have a clue what they're supposed to be doing, so the directions weren't clear enough.
4) After school yesterday, I treated myself to some yarn. I'm going to make another scarf like the one I bragged about on Sunday. I got a couple skeins of very cool yarn!
5) Some of the students do not like the student teacher and they are begging me to come back. In a couple of days.
6) I don't really get the whole zombie thing. One of my study hall students is wearing a zombie shirt and I guess I just don't get the whole thing. They don't amuse me. Although Shaun of the Dead did amuse me.
7) I have a date with my niece tomorrow! We're going to dinner and a movie--hopefully for Chinese food and then the Hunger Games.
8) I am in avoidance mode of the book group selection for April. Not quite sure why I'm dragging my heels about reading it, but I am.
9) Last night, my Virginia niece and I were chatting about cars and her "dream" car is a VW Bug in orange. I got playing around on the VW site and... they have a BROWN beetle! I've always thought the Beetle is a very fun car and I cannot imagine a brown beetle!!!!! I don't need to get a new car, I know, I know, I know.
10) This picture made me happy!

It's flattering that your students want you back. I feel bad for your student teacher, but that's so great for you.
