Aw, this is so great. One of my grandmas was half Irish, which makes me 12.5% Irish. I wish I could claim more, because Irish is a much more lyrical heritage than the 87.5% of me that's German. (World Wars, anyone?)
Our family is a lot of things, and one significant portion is Irish. The only thing we do to observe the day is to have corned beef and cabbage (which is not a traditional thing, anyway). Still, I hear the green hills calling.
