As well he should have, for he was very good. Though, I must warn you, not very sexy. More bug-eyed and kinda sweaty and ambivalent. Still, it was a good performance in a wonderful movie. I enjoyed it, even if I didn't fall in love with him, even a little.
I've been hoping for Clooney to get his due and it finally happened. Best award of the night, for me (and I'm not hot for Clooney, just appreciate his performances--and the fact that he seems to be a very good person)

I really need to see this. I don't consider Clooney to be my favorite actor, but much like Leo DiCaprio I've liked nearly every role he's played.
