ten things tuesday

Ten things:

1) I'm looking forward to therapy today. It's been a long month and I have much to process.

2) Grades closed Friday and I submitted them yesterday. The computer behaved!

3) Parent conferences are next week. My level of dread is at high alert.

4) Today is Constitution Test day! It's kind of boring to sit and watch them test. But so far the results have been quite good!

5) I'm hungry. Another half hour until lunch. I could eat part of it now, though.

6) Tonight is date night!

7) I haven't been sleeping well the past few nights. Interrupted sleep is the pits.

8) The book group book may not get read. We're meeting on Friday. It's a series of short stories but I can't seem to get into it.

9) I do not have a recycle bin in my classroom. The paper just stacks up. I'm not so sure they recycle paper anyhow. Darn custodians!

10) I got to spend some more time with my high school friend (that I haven't seen in 27 years!!!). I'm so glad we got back in touch.

We each have blue recycling bins for paper in our offices. And more than once, when working late, I have seen the janitors depositing the contents of the blue bins into their regular grey dumpsters. I'm sorry I know this.
