So I thought it would be fun to take my niece to the coast of Maine for a little getaway. Unfortunately, the weather didn't think it would be fun. So, after spending the day in rain, and having some epic luck shopping, we returned home. Even though I am disappointed we didn't have a grand adventure, we did have a lot of fun today. And it is good to be in my own bed on such a cold, rainy night.

Sounds like a good day all around. (I imagine you dancing around your very own bedroom in your nightshirt, singing that, "when the dog bites, when the bee stings, when you're feeling bad ...")
