Blind Submission tells the story of Angel, overwhelmed by the demands and stresses of the job; coworkers who drive her crazy; a would-be writer boyfriend; and several writers in need of constant care. It is an insider's view of the literary world. Eventually, an anonymous mystery shows up on Angel's desk. The parallels between the blind submission and her own life wreak havoc on Angel and those closest to her.
I liked the characters and the insider glimpse at the literary world. I liked the fast-paced story. I liked the snippets of submissions that Angel is forced to read for her job. And I liked that it kept me guessing. It's not a great book but it is fun.
