I have been to the Statue of Liberty.
You walk about 1000 steps to her "hat" look out a window for almost two seconds and somebody starts leaning on you and you start down the steps to her feet.
Having said that, it was still pretty cool experience. The ferry ride was nifty and you have a great view of NYC.
I got Statue of Liberty too! Jon is right, but it's still a worthwhile experience to do twice: Once when your parents take you, and once when you take your kids.
Or once as a tourist.
