I almost blew off Idol last night. It had been a pissy day and I was tired. I'm so glad I stayed up! What an exciting results show! I was shocked that Casey was in the bottom and even more stunned when they said he was the lowest vote getter. And then he started singing and the judges stopped him. Oy! But it was good news because the judges used their only save on him. He was shocked, I was shocked, the audience was shocked. It was great fun. And I'm so glad my favorite was saved. I guess I better start voting.

Watched the repeat online this AM and was shocked, as well. I remember Simon telling a contestant not to bother because there was no way she was going to get the save. I was sure that's what Randy was doing this year, too. And obviously, I was wrong. Great TV!
