Hard Habit To Break

1. Do you have any habits or rituals at this time of year? oh yes... I watch my holiday movies in sequence and watch all the TV specials and play festive music all the time!

2. Polar bears seem to do well in the snow... How about you? Is snow just another thing you deal with when it shows up, or is it shutdown time? ...and if you're posting from a non-snowy locale, do you make trips to actually see snow? It's okay to admit it... it would be very strange to be in Northern Maine and not have snow. Having said that, I'm not a huge fan of our endless winters.

3. Tell about a toy you remember from your childhood. my teddy bear was my best friend

4. If you could make one thing in the world absolutely free for everyone, what would it be? (thanks to The Gal for pointing out that I skipped this question) fresh fruit and veggies

5. Do you live close to your immediate family members? If not, how far away are they? I live within a mile of my parentals and my oldest sister

6. My mom ordered a turkey dinner from a local market. it was o.k., but not very good. how was your turkey (or last holiday meal) this year? it was really quite good

7. In a one horse open sleigh: Have you ever been on a sleigh ride or a carriage ride? Do you even like horses? Or would you just rather travel by your own two feet? I don't like horses but I have been on a sleigh ride and it was a blast--because it wasn't too cold and we had excellent company and lots of adult beverages to mix into our hot cocoa

8. What is your favorite Christmas song? ...and sung or played by whom? You know, the one you tend to listen for on the radio or hit 'repeat' on the player... I really enjoy Burl Ives' Holly Jolly Christmas

9. What is your least favorite Christmas song? ...and sung or played by whom? You know, the one you tend to skip on the player... uhm... I can't stand Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer and I don't care who sings it...

Oh, your teddy bear! Did you give him a special name, or leave him as christened ("teddy")?

Why aren't you giving us all something free?

Burl Ives is a good choice.

Have a great weekend!

It snows in Northern Maine? Who knew?
