holidailies
Today's prompt: Guilty pleasures. During the holidays, I love watching holiday movies. I especially love Miracle on 34th Street--both the original and the remake. I don't care what anybody says about the remake. And I have to watch The Holiday, Christmas Vacation, Love Actually and Elf. Among others. But these are my favorites. I even watch cheesy holiday films but I can't think of any of the names right now.

Here are two grown up ones you may enjoy:
"Silent Night, Lonely Night" is a great oldie (1969). Lloyd Bridges and Shirley Jones. Two strangers, alone at Christmas because of their complicated personal lives, meet at a New England hotel and end up spending the night together. Jeff Bridges plays his dad as a young man in a flashback.
"The Gathering" with Ed Asner and Maureen Stapleton is a great one, too.
Hulu has a collection of cheesy Lifetime holiday movies right now that may be right up your alley. Although it sounds like you've got some classic go-to's already.
We always watch "Miracle on 34th Street" on Thanksgiving.
