I'm taking the plunge tomorrow and getting DVR service. I thought that meant changing my cable tv package, but it seems that I can keep my package but add the service.
You're going to love it. We got a TiVo as soon as such a thing hit the market. We consider it a requirement in the Chili household; in fact, the TiVo was the first thing we replaced when a lightning strike took out a bunch of our stuff - we had a new DVR before the garage door opener was replaced...
