I liked Ellen as a judge better than I expected to. She was funny and warm and maybe a bit too tactful. I don't know that the show can continue to hold its own without Simon, though.
I have heard that Kara has been fired, too, and that next year will see the return of the three judge panel -- JLo, Steven Tyler and Randy. I don't know that any of it matters, though, without Simon.

Seriously, it is even gonna be worth watching Idol anymore?
Although I can't wait to see who they'll put on the panel next. They need someone who is
a) knowledgeable about the music industry
b) snarky as all get out
or it will be be an absolute waste.
While I love the show, I was never a fan of her as a singing judge. I wonder who they'll come up with now...
