So, I got my observation evaluation today. It was not the best. I'm beating myself up for not being the best. I need to let it go. Let it go. One observation is like a snapshot of one day... that wasn't my best day. Gah... gah...
Aw, this sucks. Why couldn't the observer come by on one of those many, many days when everything is clicking and you're firing on all cylinders and the students are responding in kind? You're right, though. What's done is done and there's nothing you can do now but be gracious, try to learn from it, and then let it go.
Your advice to yourself is spot-on... It wasn't your best day; it was just one day; let it go. You'll be better next time. Stop being a woman and dwelling on something you can't change! *wink*
