Now that I'm feeling more human, here are ten things about me being sick:
1) I whine a lot when I'm sick.
2) I like to be by myself.
3) I have no patience--I want what I want when I want it when I'm sick.
4) Sleep is the best medicine.
5) I have no appetite when I'm sick.
6) Water and orange juice are about all I can handle. I can't have caffeine or carbonation.
7) I can't concentrate on reading or movies or other things.
8) I wake myself up perspiring when my fever breaks. And I'm so uncomfortable. Gah. Gross.
9) Not being able to breathe through the nose is one of the worst feelings. I hate being a mouth-breather.
10) Feeling better is sweet.

I'm glad you're feeling better.
I hate (hate, HATE) not being able to breathe through my nose. When I was pregnant (both times!) I was CONSTANTLY congested, to the point where I'd wake from dreams of being drowned in cement. Not. Good. Sometimes, I still get that - especially at night - but it's less so now, thank the Goddess.
I hate when I'm sick and the stuff in my nose gets all crusty. Why does that happen, anyway?
I'm glad you're healing. The blogosphere needs you!
Hopefully you're feeling better today! As my dad always said, "It feels so good when it quits hurting!"
