just finished reading...

The first of what looks to be a promising new mystery series--Chet and Bernie Mysteries. Chet is the dog narrator and Bernie is the owner of a detective agency. It was fun to see the story from Chet's perspective. Easily distracted as it may be. I'm interested enough to want to see how the characters develop.

The second in the series is just out in hardcover. I'll wait for paperback.

Oh, I hadn't heard of these and I'm always up for books with good canine or feline characters. I'll definitely put them on my list.

Oh I really liked Dog On It! It gave me an entirely new way to look at my dog. When he barks at dogs passing by I think he's saying, "Hey guys - here I am - it's me - hey, mom, that's my tribe out there."
I'm looking forward to reading the second one, too!

I am a big mystery fan.
I'll have to look for that one.
Have you tried the Southern Cousins mystery called "Elvis and the Dearly Departed" by Peggy Webb?
The dog in this on thinks he is The King reincarnated and narrates part of the book.
It's pretty cute and funny.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.
