I don't know who's more excited for vacation--the students or me. Today was difficult. For some reason, the kids seem to be under the impression that all we're going to do this week is play. They were incredulous that I expected to do work this week. It's HIGH SCHOOL for cryin' out loud. Of course we work. Tomorrow's going to be rough.

I can't imagine the insanity of being in class this week. The kids have already checked out!
Heh. I'm working my kids, too, all the way to tomorrow. They're seeing movies (A Christmas Carol, to be specific), but I'm making them EARN it (check out the essay questions I asked them for A Muppet Christmas Carol on my teacher blog. Look for the entry titled "I am an evil bitch."
