So, today was a bust--the conference was not nearly as inspiring as we hoped it would be. I thought it was supposed to be about ways to focus on economics in what I already teach, but it was more about strategies and lessons to teach economics. Not the same thing at all. It was interesting, but not what I thought it was going to be.Six hours in the car for this?
In other words... a bit of a waste of time.

One of my ten things tuesday annoyances this week was just this - workshops that don't deliver what they promise. Ugh.
Very frustrating, especially for such a big investment of time!
