ten things tuesday...

Ten things to do tomorrow:

1) Coffee. I refuse to cut back on getting coffee out. I want my Dunkin' Donuts coffee. The end.

2) Set up my rank book for the third quarter. That means entering category weights and assignments and so forth. I don't like the program we use. But now that I've gotten the hang of using it, we're probably going to have a new one next year.

3) Queue video. I'm showing a great National Geographic video about Lewis & Clark. I even wrote up a video viewing guide (a vvg) and a quiz for it.

4) Say no gracefully. I finally decided that I do not want to be the literacy consultant for my department. I got to see the expectations and frankly, without getting paid, it's just too big a commitment.

5) Press releases. It's possible that the local t.v. station will be coming to school to interview some members of the Civil Rights Team about Teen Dating Violence Prevention and Awareness Week. We've got great posters up all around the building and a huge banner in the cafeteria. I've got to double check to make sure the kids have parental consent forms signed so they can be interviewed.

6) Set an agenda. There's a Civil Rights Team meeting after school and I've got to set the agenda and make sure everything's good to go for the meeting, especially so that we can do double-duty if the local news show up. We still need to have a regular meeting. We've got things to do!

7) Make lunch. Oy, I almost forgot that I need some lunch and snacks for the day. I usually think of it the evening before... but I haven't thought at all this time.

8) Hair appointment. Yippee!! I'm getting my hair done tomorrow!!

9) American Idol. Need I say more?

10) Touch-up marketing. I almost forgot that I ran out of yogurt and fruit for lunches and snacks... I'll have to make a pit stop in the way home.
