PostSecret is an ongoing community art project where people mail in their secrets anonymously on one side of a homemade postcard. Every week I like to post one that speaks to me--this week more than one jumped out at me.
Those two hit me, too, but especially the first one. Most kids are lucky to SURVIVE high school, and anyone who tells them that these are the best years of their lives is cruel. If I thought that my high school years were as good as it was ever going to get, I WOULD have swallowed that bottle of pills when I was 16...
