10 things I don't like about winter:
1) below zero temperatures
2) wind chills
3) not having a car starter/having to wait for the car to warm up
4) dirty snow
5) slippery walkways
6) "is it cold enough for ya?"
7) unsafe drivers
8) running out of melty stuff for the apartment steps & porch
9) breath freezing in nostrils
10) ice
It's December and we've had all of this already! Yikes, what'll things be like in deep winter??!!

Blah. I'm trying to NOT be a grouchy bitch all winter. I'm not sure I'm succeeding, and it's only December...
I agree with your list absolutely!
Add to the list "car doors freezing shut, forcing one to climb through passenger door or back hatch and over gear shifter until spring thaw." This has been a chronic problem for me since I bought my 2-door Tracker 11 years ago. No amount of lock de-icer will help. The only thing that works is using a blowdryer for 10 minutes or more to warm the lock mechanism...but that isn't much fun to do when it is -30*C outside. :-/
Heating bills are another thing I don't like about winter.
Despite the hate-list, I do like winter. A lot. :)
I'm a fan of winter except for one thing. Yes, just one thing. The dry air! I get nose bleeds and find myself unconsciously rubbing up against the wall for relief of that one, virtually unreachable itchy spot between my shoulder blades. And I have TWO humidifiers at home!
