for the second day in a row, we've been released early from school due to bomb threats. Oy. Most of the kids today were upset that we had to sit in the designated area--all 600 of us, for a couple of hours before being dismissed back to classes and then being dismissed for the day.
Unfortunately, we have to make up all the contact time we've missed. And the students were really griping about how they can't believe they are saying it but they wanted to have classes. This completely changes my plans up to the holiday break. Now I hope we don't have a holiday assembly so we can meet with our classes.

People are so sick. Here's hoping it's just someone's idea of a joke and not building up to something real. Ugh.
A couple of hours in a designated area? ICK! What did you all DO while sitting there in the holding tank?
I remember that happening when I was in elementary school. Once it happened 3 times in the same week. The third time our teachers tooks books and we sat in circles as a class and they read to us the whole time. At least it was better than sitting there in single file lines for hours. Some people are just idiots...
