quickie assignment...
I had my honors class read an article and respond to it. One paragraph. I got a couple of full-page responses. Was Daniel Shays and his rebellion an act of patriotism or terrorism, that was the question. Some of the answers were shrouded in "in my opinion" and were weak arguments, others were on-spot, making a succinct argument.

I think it all depend upon which side you are on, I imagine the British thought we were all a bunch of terrorists.
The winners get to write the book on the losers.
