It's somewhat frustrating to have a reading group where people don't finish the book in time for the discussions. But this month's meeting was so much fun, it reminded me of why I love being in a reading group: we talked about characters, themes, motives, plot and sub-plot, secondary characters, motivation, literary devices... phew! It was very lively as we didn't all agree on whether we liked the main character or not. I thought she was spunky but I didn't like all the things she did.
