Sunday Stealing: The Meme About Memes & Blogging
How do you feel about being tagged for memes? usually I am amused by them and do them
Do you participate in any regular weekly memes? Which ones? almost all the memes I do are weekly
Have you found any bloggers that you began to read regularly after participating in a meme with them? several
Do you know of any readers who found you through a meme and became regular readers? I think so
Did you find any favorite blogs through comments or blogrolls on others’ blogs? Oh, yes... some of my favorite teacher blogs
Did you find any favorite blogs from someone else’s recommendation? there are a couple in my blogroll
If you comment on someone’s blog, do you expect a response? If so, do you prefer that response to come through an e-mail, a comment from them on the same post, or a a comment on your blog? I don't expect a response and I have no preference
Do you ever struggle with your blogging “voice”? no
Are there certain types of blogs that attract you? interesting, observational blogs
Are there certain types of blogs that repel you? overly snarky. And I'm not really into mommy-blogs.
What time of day do you usually blog? usually late afternoon, when I get home from school
Do your family and friends know about your blog? Do they read it? Do they mind if you mention them? Do they suggest posts for it? a few of my friends and family know I blog. I try to mention them by code--by nickname. They've never suggested posts.

I feel you about the mommy blogs...
Have a great week!
I read a blog for awhile because it was SO bad. It was a "Mommy Blog". But my problems with it? She did not have kids. She had decided to try to get pregnant. Howshe had readers to help her decorate a nursery for a kid who was not even a fetus was mind blowing. Oh. She did get pregnant. So we then got DAILY health update. She was the only pregnant person on the planet. After she had the kid, she stopped the blog...
I'm surprised by how many have sited Mommy Blogs as particularly repellent. After all, there are SO many of them!
