stuff n stuff...

It's such a dreary downer of a day. Being back to school is one thing but having the nutso testing schedule is ruining my rhythm. Having classes disrupted by schedule changes is really annoying. I need my routine. And we have another whole week of NWEA testing.

And I'm tired of the shenanigans at school. Something has got to be done about morale. There are issues not being addressed because of this pall from the firing and hearing over the summer.

This election can't come fast enough. Sick to death of the negative advertising. Bored to tears by the campaigns.

I was able to give my time and attention to a student today. She was at a boiling point and boiled over, I was glad I could be there for her. It actually made my day better to make her day better.

My work is all caught up at school. My lesson plan book is up to date. Which is a real shocker because usually I think it's too stupid to fill in the blocks in a book I would NEVER leave for a substitute teacher. Puhleeze, I leave much too detailed plans than would ever fit in the box in the plan book. Grades are in the grade book, too.

My neighbor's tv is competing with my tv for volume tonight. I might even have to ask her to turn it down. gah. I would hate to get off on the wrong foot with my new neighbor.
