1. One of the best concerts/plays/movies I ever saw that I really didn't think I'd like was Michael Hedges.
2. Jack Daniels Cheesburger is a recipe I recently made (or meal I recently ordered) that was delicious!
3. It's time for election-related phone calls.
4. Napping is quite refreshing.
5. If I never hear the word "cold enough for you?" again, it'll be too soon.
6. To one side of the curving road was a stand of autumnal trees, and on the other was a a peaceful lake.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to nothing particular, tomorrow my plans include the Breakfast Club and Sunday, I want to running errands!

Back to those election-related phone calls: There is one way to make sure you never receive another -- dump your landline. For some reason (that I used to know but forgot), it's harder for pollsters to verify the demographics of cellphone accounts. If they don't know for sure who you are, they don't know what group to put you in, so they don't bother.
