thus far... part trois...

Today has mostly been a wasted, hang around and kill time day. This morning we found out that they were able to schedule Dad for his procedure tomorrow morning. He did sign the release forms to go ahead with the stents at the same time as the cath if that is the therapeutic step to take. He'll be at the hospital at 8 tomorrow morning and hopefully, if everything works out ok, we'll be heading home on Saturday. If not, on Sunday or whenever. Hopefully Saturday.

We're all still in good spirits. No one is worried about anything, really, the consult with the heart specialist put a lot of our worries to rest.

What we did do today was a trip to the Portland Museum of Art for the Georgia O'Keefe exhibit and spent time noodling around the rest of the displays. Oh, and that was after wandering through the Old Port for an hour or so. Then we decided to enjoy this gorgeous day by going out to Scarborough and then on to Old Orchard Beach, where we hung out for about half an hour and I dug my toes in the sand. I was quite surprised at how crowded the beach was! There were people crawling all over the place. It's not even tourist season!

Now we're resting up before going to dinner.

Keep the good vibes coming. I can feel them and they're working!

I'm reluctant to say it for fear it will jinx your mood, but it sounds like you're having FUN. Yesterday the Macaroni Grill, today a trip to the museum AND wiggling your toes in the sand. I'm happy you're happy, and am keeping my toes crossed on your behalf (really, I'm wearing sandals so I can).

Well, I'm reading this on Friday and it's early afternoon here so I'm assuming things are already in the works for his procedure. I will pray for him that things will work out for the best. Update soon, ok???
